About the Author

Elim Ephrame is the first generation Eritrean American in her family. She was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, in 2004. In addition to being a mental health advocate, she volunteers with AFSP. Furthermore, she participates in pageants and is a current title Maryland holder, thus using mental health to educate and assist other young people. There is a good chance that you will see her playing at the park with her two dogs, Mr. Chloe and Lucky.
