Neither age nor physical condition precludes a mentally alert Christian from serving the Lord. Service to others is a focal part of the teaching of Christ. Christians come into contact with numerous opportunities for service each day. Jesus taught that one should not delay in taking advantage of an opportunity. Christians should pray for the power to be able to emulate the radiant and merciful eyes and compassionate words of Jesus. Believers can sow seeds of kindness and love through comforting communication with others.
